Do you still listen to the same kind of music you did when you were a child? If not, how have your preferences changed?

When I was young, I was interested in soft and easy listening music like ballads.

It helped me focus on my studies.

But when I was a freshman in college, I met my roommate who loves Christian music.

When he wakes up in the morning, he put his favorite Christian music as his alarm tone.

At first, it was very unfamiliar since I had never been to church before.

But as time goes by, I became familiar with the music, because it has a simple melody, and easy to sing.

I became know many songs and Christian singers.

And now, even if I'm not a Christian, I often listen to Christian music.

You indicated that you like to listen to music. Can you tell me what type of music you like? Why do you like to listen to it?

Music is my passion, so I listen to music anytime and anywhere.

I listen to almost all kinds of music, depending on my mood, but I like pop and ballads the most.

They're the kinds of music that put me in a good mood.

I like pop music because the rhythm is energetic and fun.

Pop music never goes out of style.

On the other hand, ballads are soft and slow. 

But the lyrics are deep and meaningful as they are mostly about love.

It tells and reminds us how people we love are so precious.

Those are the reasons why I like to listen to pop music and ballads.
